Yup, that's the question. Would it be possable to create a land vehicle that can proform 'air superiority' missions? I've been trying, and my SAM firing marines don't seem to operate correctly... :X
Has anyone else tried, and had any luck with different configurations, seeing as how Civ3 editing is a big game of trial and error and all. ^_~

I succeeded it in quite weird way. First, Air Superiority doesnt work on land units at all. Sure, you may activate the button but unit stand still during bombardment. The only solution I found so far is to make Air unit with Air superiority option and give it slow moving rate(=1) in order to prevent flying over sea tiles. And second, AI would not use it.

Movement of 1 would still allow it to fly on the coast squares.

Yup, but it makes no sence to move air unit over the ocean with speed=1.. :)

give it the sinks in ocean and sinks in sea flag.;)
