Hi, I realize many people dislike Catherine the Great and prefer her title the Disgrace instead. Well, I decided to make another Russian leaderhead. Remember, this is a preview, he sort of has similarities to Michael, though I'm impressed with myself with this guy so far...

I encourage you to critisize and comment on him. I want to make this guy perfecto!

Ok, I rounded him up, the other times I rounded him up, he looked....Poser Faulted. :)
I will get that texture birthmark, but not now.

Grr..I made myself a texture but it didn't pan out after 7 literally times. Though I cut back some years, voided the Monopoly guy look :p and darkened the eyebrows, does't anyone know how to thin up the eyebrows, I am having a tough time with them. He head is actually rounder, but if I round it more, it looks like a joke. Could anyone kindly paint me a texture for Gorbachev? :)

I took LesCanadiens advice by changing the glasses and aging him up. BTW, Gorbachev's head was quite round, so I'm leaving at it is, it actually is rounder, but Poser4 will.....let's just say damage his face. :)

I can't locate any 'horseshoe' haircut, and I don't know how to manipulate the eyebrows anymore. I'm searching for transpanecy maps and some textures.

I think that he needs to look quite a bit older, and the glasses should be smaller and possibly less round, and isn't he the one with the birthmark on his head?

Indeed LesCanadiens, I could find some better glasses, the age tranformation will be easy, and a birthmark? Hmm, I'll have to look hard to find that...:)

I'll find a nice tie and sag the eyes. BTW, the birthmark looks more like a scar of bruise. Thanks for this great reference! :thumbsup: I was using a small crumy one. :)

sorry to say that your guy doesn't resemble Gorby at all..

You can paint a scare onto a skin texture in a paint program.
Then when you apply the texture, you'll have the scare.

Make sure that you make a copy of the original skin texture though, in case you mess it up.

Well you deffinatly need some texture one the suit and the face, and make him look like Gorbachev, not to be rude but he just dosent...You need to raise him one the 'DollyY' then make him closer to the camera on the 'DollyZ' kinda like the picture below, maybe even make him closer to the camera, it might be better if you use a normal civ leader to go by but thats your call. Then adjust the 'roll', 'pitch', and 'yaw' so he is looking straight at the camera. Once you get that stuff going and adjust the face a little it will fine :). It is also easyer once you learn the 'ins' and 'outs' of the program.

and his shoulders are a little broad for my realistic tastes (he looks promising however!)

He needs that inflated birthmark. that's his trademark

VDog: Where did you find that great haircut? Maybe if I moved it forward, I could capture the Gorbachev haircut, could you lend it to me? :)

try to make his head a bit "rounder" if that's possible & don't give him a booty (i don't think i have ever seen him wair one..)

His birthmark should pulsate when he's angry. ;)

My 2 cents on your project:

1) Your second pic looks better than the first but if you want it to be Gorby - the birthmark is a must. Plus he looks a bit to dark.. Remember that he does not spend alot of time in warmer climates.

2) I think it would be great if you made him age during the eras (and his birthmark gets more pronounced). That way, you could have more artistic license in his "earlier" days.

I am working on some textures. Though, when I apply it to him, it doesn't show.:confused:

eyeyeyey, his nose may look off, maybe really bad. The rendering will look better after the birthmark. :)
