Or, you could replace them, as I have, with wool, cloth, olives and butter.
I've made graphics for these; find them at

I don't think it is possible to place them accurately in europe. Rubber I don't know about, maybe place them at the edges of the map, as close to africa as you can. :crazyeye:

Yeah rubber and silk should probably be placed closest to the asian continent... Ivory towards the south. Dyes and gems could be placed normally in my opinion.
Or alternately you could place them near the area major ports exist today. At the mouths of rivers or bays where port cities would be founded and trade bring them in.

Ivory wouldn't normally be found in Europe. Ditto for Silk and Rubber.

Dye could be placed almost anywhere. I'm not sure about Gems, I'd imagine in the Alps or Pyrennes.

I released rubber. Simple solution.

I decided to put a few luxuries instead of dye, ivory, gems and silk. Best is tobacco, I think. It will appear after astronomy. In Europe, it's first planted in Spain, England, France and Portugal, but where exactly?

Central Europe doesn't have any luxuries. Any suggestion?

Also I forgot to mention that, I found only four uranium places from the encyclopedia. (Portugal, France, Germany and Turkey) Any other places for my map?

Here's the minimap:

Sweden has some of the best uranium ores in the world, but as we're environmentally sensitive, we don't mine it. And looking on the minimap, I think the Ukraine should be grassland instead, as it is the most fertile place in Europe. Otherwise it's looking mighty good.

Thanks for uranium info. But where in Sweden exactly?

I put some wheats there. Grassland or plain represents the terraiżn type. That's different from fertility.

Oh, I don't know, out in the woods somewhere. :)
Well, I see plains as a sort of half-desert, like in Spain for example. The Ukraine should definitely be grassland.
