The problem which I reckon we'll face the most is not enough programmers, so if anyone is willing to help, please come along!

Whatever you do make the unit graphics a whole lot better. (oh and put in the olmecs as a tribe)

And make it possible to play some one els then those four countries - I am a Patriot!!!

Ah come on! colonization is one of the very few games that actually included the Dutch as a worthy option and let's face it: we were 'great' back then, robbing the Spanish, oppressing the indonesians, trading New Amsterdam for Surinam...
