Well, this is a shot from my last Colonization game, last week (BTW, I was stuck 3 whole days playing it, the Easter weekend. Really still addictive).
I found it funny. No comment, find what's wrong. I give a sweet to the 1st to find the error http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/smile.gif

Well I have to admit I dont REALLY get it http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/confused.gif
If you mean the numbers...whats wrong with them just because he doesnt have 80 colonists to get independence witch doesnt mean that he cant get 80 colonists into his nasty colony. And well its unfair and maybe a bug but I HATE the AI getting indepence from its king while you have to fight very very hard for your liberty

Yes my bad, I forgot to tell you that 10 turns before the population was 90. And then it decreasd to 76, because the AI was too stupid to plow the surrounding field => people starved. So now you can understand how difficult it would be for them to reach 80 http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/smile.gif
And BTW, that's the fun in Coloniz. Fighting for freedom. I always enjoy independance war... Have you forgotten everything has a price including freedom? Eheheh that was the philosophical sentence of the day. My words of wisdom http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Ok now I understand although the bad AI shouldnt be regarded as a REAL bug (although it shouldve been subject to a patch http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/smile.gif)
So you experienced a "not ploughing" AI. Well this is better than my AI always ploughing the wrong fields (Well dont you think those forests with the "tree" icon are usefull?? The AI doesnt share my opinion on this and always ploughs those fields first just to use another worthless forest square to get wood...hmmmmm)
Well actually I dont have to fight tooo much against my king since I never gave him any money (I wonder how he explained this to his wife???) and I fully agree with your final statement BUT why doesnt the AI need to fight HIS king(s) but gets them because their king is a philanthrop (???dont know if I spelled this correctly???)

But why do you consider that as a "Mac Bug"?
