At Governor level, playing as the Dutch:
2662 equalling 106% (I think the % figure which takes into account the difficulty level is the more significant figure). I'm currently playing a game at Viceroy level and it looks like a better score is on the cards :)

So what's yours?

My dad, once a Colonization freak, played Viceroey and after winning Independence, his score was so high it locked up on him! :lol: He retired before winning Independace and I think he got... 120-140% ??? I don't remember, it's been a few years... The most I've got is 45% or something like that. Not very high.

That's a high score without the Independence bonus!

The highest score recorded in dledgard's site is 155% (dated Nov99).

Of course with Colonization more than Civ2, the the onus on ones honesty is paramount as there is no disincentive for cheating ;) eg the branding of the games file if one used the cheat menu in Civ2 although there are programs to defeat this!

mine has only been 114% with independence with me as the dutch

My best score is 6166 (308%). However the Hall of Fame does not register any scores over about 3200 (160%). At least it doesn't in my version anyway.

I have no idea about highest score, but not a very high one I suppose. Unlike civ I never care for my score in Colonization. I have played many hours of colonization and would problaby be very good at it if I just bothered exploiting some abusive strategies, but I always play just for the fun of playing.

Last weak i made a score of about 3000 and +/- 110%.
I was playing the middle difficulty (i don't remember the name) with Portuguese (Dutch) and about 15 colonies.
If military could give lot's of score i think i would crash the game (i have nearly 2* i the intervention force before declaring independence, with no Man'o Wars offcourse).

It's good to see a continent with our name:)

It's been ages since I've played colonization (Probably haven't played it since I got Civ 2), but my highest score was only around 50%.
I might have to load it back on to my PC so I can start playing again. ;)
