Would the Panama Canal count or would it be in Central America? How about El Dorado? That must exist:thumbsup:
Just hope that you can use things like the Andes or the Amazon, that should make it easier ;)

I can help with some brazilian monuments.
Besides the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro(my hometown!), I remember those right now:
-Monument to Deads of WW2(a huge monument in Flamengo beach, in Rio de Janeiro)
-Monument to Tiradentes, Martyr of the Republic(there are a lot of Tiradentes memorials, but the most important one is located in the city of Ouro Preto, in the state of Minas Gerais, where he attempted to overthrow the portuguese government and proclaim independence and the republic)
-Monument to Caxias, Patrone of the Army(a huge memorial is located in the center of Rio de Janeiro, right in front the Armys East Command. Caxias was a duke and he commanded the troops of the Brazilian Empire and defeated Paraguay in the Triple Alliance War)
-Monument to Juscelino Kubitscheck(this famous monument is located on the federal capital, Brasília. Its very polemical because it is a statue of JK on a scythe, a symbol of communism. The architect who designed it was the world famous Oscar Niemeyer, an old-time communist. JK was a very popular brazilian president and during his rule Brasília was built.)
I hope I helped you a bit.
