Do we get a higher score when we finish with a s/s?

You get the usual 400 points added to your civilization score, which is then entered into Matrix's formula. The exact boost to your GOTM score will depend on the year in which you finish.

btw. . . It's July. Where is GOTM06?

I'm sure that Thunderfall will upload GotM#6 sometime today!!! There is still plenty of time for him to do it!!!

Ehh there is no bonus score for winning by conquest AZ. There is an early finish bonus in the game, but that is not counted when you calculate the GotM score - well not currently that is!!!

I've just found out why the early finish bonus shouldn't be counted. See the "GOTM5 experiences" or "Newbies start with score 0" thread.

The flat score for an early finish (sometimes referred to as a "bonus") is not used in the (50^PNP) formula, since it is a time-dependent score and does not change, until the "normal" score supercedes it. instead, the "normal" socre is used, and the fast finish bonus is built into the (50^PNP) function.
