Number of files suggests 183 or 184. 367 files all in all and each tech has two icons. Does this mean that one tech is missing the other file?

Ukas-Feel free to make a preview if you want, its just that there are so many icons i didīnt really know how to make a preview that includes them all.

Man, I took a serious look to these icons. I'm never going to get my personal ready, these days there's just too much of everything... though my gf went to work, hmmm, perhaps I don't have to after graduation... ;)

Anyway, thanks Yoda - great job with the compilation! :thumbsup:

I wouldn't be surprised if I had to - added so much stuff that tech icons really are needed - but it will take me ages to come up with a satisfiable tech tree.

I think there's really no need for a preview, it's a single, handy package where icons are categorized by their era. :)

Right click 'Compiled Icons' -> Properties. :)

or you can just select them all and it'll tell you how many there are (atleast in win 98)

Yoda,

You've got the old DyP Democracy icon still in the Zip. the New icon is included in the file attached to the other thread and has improved coloring and a slight alteration to the angle of the owl.

You also have the original Civ3 Communism included in the zip, seems rather silly. :)

you had the new fundamentalism icon so I figured you would have the Democracy icon as well seeing as they are both in the zip attached to the other thread. :)

You can find a logging/lumbering tech icon made by Drift, and a roadbuilding tech icon made by me here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?postid=1037408#post1037408).

Do you have a list of who made each icon? If not, dont fret it.

I found that Industrial->Telephone has 2 smalls

I think most tech icons are taken from internet in general, so I wouldn't bother giving the credits (real authors are unknown).

Any chance of a refrigeration icon? This is my idea...

I modded a map with 64 resources on it. Several were bonus resources, and were food types (crab, citrus, apple, etc.). I figured that food could not be traded over long distances, until the advent of refrigeration. So I added this tech back into the game (it was there in Civ 2), making electricity its only pre-requisite. Then, I added more of the same food types, using the same icons, but changed the names slightly (crabs, fruits, apples, etc.) These new types I added near to where the old bonus resources had been, and set them to appear with refrigeration. The old types generated 0 trade, but the new types I set at +3 trade. So in gameplay, suddenly a civ has a source of food that they can export, if they discover this tech and find these resources within their borders.

When I looked at the tech tree, refrigeration had an electrical cord & plug, which belongs to the electricity tech. I need to change the civilopedia, and refrigeration having its own icon will do the trick! :)
