Here is the problem: I have had civ3 1.29 for sometime. No problem. I finally broke down and got PTW. It ran fine, I have the 1.21 patch installed, and I was a happy man. Suddenly out of the blue it is having trouble loading sound files for the units. I would understand if it was an add-on unit, but they have all been the original sound files. I get a message like ERROR: CAN'T LOAD FILE: "Art\Units\LegionaryFortify.wav" or something like that. I went to the folder, and the sound file is there, it works fine, I listened to it. It is all typed in correctly in the .INI files. So far it has been the Swordsman and Legionary. If anyone has any suggestions other than re-loading (BTDT) I would be obliged.
