This is becoming an insteresting race between me and Shaitan. Remember DG1? Donsig, eyrei and I?

I voted for Shaitan. I was considering voting for Chieftess and CivGeneral, but I decided that they would be better as Domestic and Military Leaders, respectively. Shaitan, on the other hand, is someone who I believe would be best suited as President.

This is just what happened to donsig right before the end of the elections in DG1. In fact, I think we had over 40 votes IN DG1.

We now have 51 votes. In the last presidential election, it was more like 31 votes. This is going to cause sky-high quorums! (26 after 24 hours so far)

Ever notice that this is starting to look like that "Biggest Names" poll in DG2? ;) (the vote counts)

We could have had a primary here as well. Don't think anybody thought of it (otherwise we probably would have).

I thought of that, but didn't mention it. How would a primary be conducted?

We've never had one but most likely it would be like this:

The mods (Election Coordinator) would announce a primary ballot. It would be open for 24 hours. The top approved candidates would pass to the actual election ballot. It could be done with multi-choice or standard polling as it's an elimination, not an election.

EDIT: 58 votes and still 12 hours to go. This is phenomenal participation and will hopefully segue into a large number of players in the game. :D
