View Full Version : Citizen's Group: The Will To Power
Eklektikos Apr 29, 2003, 07:04 AM This group is founded on a single principle: that no tactic, strategy or course of action (excepting only genuine exploits) should be ruled out if it could potentially further the the cause of the ascendency of our nation.
We support use of pop-rushing, city razing, extortion, treaty breaking, RoP rape and all other such maligned practices wherever these will prove genuinely advantageous. This does not mean that we are actively seeking opportunities to put all these into practice, but simply that we will not balk at doing so where the potential for gain outweighs the negative repercussions.

Cyc Apr 29, 2003, 07:12 AM Sign me Ek. Rules? What rules? Whatever it takes. How about disbanding or razing cities?
EDIT: Took out the question about the avatar. As you've gone back to Mr. Smith, the question makes no sense. The crazed clown was quite a departure, but welcome none the less. ;)
Eklektikos Apr 29, 2003, 08:23 AM Welcome aboard, Cyc. Added city razing explicitly in the blurb, just to make things as clear as possible. Would have put it in originally if my brain had been firing on all cylinders at the time.
I think I shall decline to comment on your last question :mischief:

This group sounds like the last Demogame sticking its head into this one.

Grandmaster Apr 30, 2003, 02:57 PM I'll join as well. Eklek, it seems you forgot one thing in your list on the first page: the use of nuclear force.
Octavian X Apr 30, 2003, 09:41 PM Why not? Sounds like the most sensible group here. Sign me up. :)
naervod May 01, 2003, 12:08 AM Have to agree with Oct, very senesible. I'm in.
Eklektikos May 01, 2003, 04:33 AM Welcome all :goodjob:
@Grandmaster: Use of nuclear force is implicitly included in the catch all "all other such maligned practices" part of the declaration of intent. Adding it explicitly would just make reading the text even more of an endurance test than it already is ;)
Sir John May 01, 2003, 04:51 AM lets research nukies and nuke em all...

Here's the first Will to Power SOTD.
I was looking at the English capitol Birmingham
I noticed that their FP was also located there.
The FP even generates more culture per turn.
