Roles of The Jade Commandos.
The Jade Commandos are a Mercinary group that is directly supported by the Military but it has to depend on its own to bring in Weapons, Troops, and supplies. Our aim is to aid anyone in need weather it is during times when the Nation is in war (RPG Stories) or weather it is a Persion vs. Persion kind of thing

andrew: that was not there last night, i can tell you that.

Zarn: a group trying to bring the concept of "spying" and "diplomacey" into practice, i call "speicel ops".

andrew: is it with goverment backing? *andrew eyes Zarn with disaproving looks*

Zarn: duh! nothing could be without the despot, might makes right, as they say.

andrew: then i am in! *smiles at Zarn*

cara: and so am i! *cara pulls out wood spear and makes a few practice stabs*

Zarn: now don't do that lad, we don't want killing.

The despot can been seen outside of the hut with his attendants.

Markus Viviano (to his advisors): Hmm, what is this hut?

Advisor #1: Seems to be some sort of military group. Doesn't look good.

Markus: Come, let's leave before they see us. Our full contingent isn't with us, as they have headed north.

Brashin Jade: Hmm

Brashin Jade: Look, over there

Warlord Noval Gontsky: Why its Markus Viviano. I wonder what is he doing in this part.

Ryan: Sir, We are ready to move out.

Warlord Noval Gontsky: Good work. Hopefully we can defend any barbarians that gets in our way.

Brashin Jade: Ohh, and we have two new people, they seem to be reviloutionaries, I think.

Warlord Noval Gontsky: We should be carefull with them.

Brashin Jade: The names are Andrew and Cara. Shall we accept them

Warload Noval Gontsky: Go ahead. But keep an eye on them.

Noval Gontsky looks at the Flint Dager that was handed down to him by his Father and then looks to the sky

andrew: what is this thing you speak of?

If you ask me, this group looks far to organized to be pre-Military Tradition. Secondly, the only fighters present are those that are specifically mentioned, unless you get the despot's approval to use his resources from the land to raise an actual contingent of registered troops.
Otherwise, there's no actual conflict, something that I would need to decide the outcome of. Tone down the organizational level a bit, before I need to act.

Like I said in the chatroom, you should cut down, if not eliminate mentions of training, and building refined tools. I also tried to hint that the despot might not be too thrilled about this group.

it is RPG, if the nation is at war in the DG, we post story threads about the conflict (remember sirjohn's volcano island thread?).

The game has yet to begin! Any nation we would have is still in the ancient age! We don't even have a code for warriors to organize along! We don't know foreign nations to fight with!

Also, the point in the reorganization along the lines it has taken was to allow for realism: you will lost conflicts. It is very unrealistic (and unchallanging) to win all the time. There needs to be a third party rolling the die.

Which I'm trying to atleast hint at. ;) I guess I'll have to be more thourough. Anyway, that's why we're just dealing with local tribes. Once we settle, we will have banded the tribes together.

Seemingly out of the mists of time, an old man, large in stature and regal in bearing, steps into the shelter occupied by Noval Gontsky, followed by two younger Men. (OOC: I know we can't have characters from the last game in here, but he's only going to appear once.)

Noldodan: Hello. I am Noldodan, and these (gestures to his companions) are my... relatives, Nambanoldo and Poldothar. The small, wiry one, Nambanoldo, is a budding craftsman, very good at designing and building weapons. He has already made a few improvements to the basic spear and axe, and has developed the "sling," a device for hurling rocks great distances. Poldohtar, as you may have noticed, is rather large and muscular. He is a master with the spear, axe and sling. And now, I leave them in your care. I am sure that you will find a use for them.

Noval Gontsky: What? Wait just a second here... Hey?! Where did he go? (Indeed, Noldodan seems to have disappeared from the shelter) Well, that was certainly odd. (Turns to Nambanoldo and Poldohtar) What am I going to due with you two? (He sighs) Well, first off, who are your relatives?

Nambanoldo: Well, my father is Perianoldo, a scholar in the village, and Poldohtar here is my cousin.

Noval: That's it?

Nambanoldo: That's it.

Noval: Then who was that here in the shelter?

Nambanoldo, looking around: What? We just came here on our own. We never saw anybody but you.

Noval, softly: I must be getting too superstituous and seeing things... (Louder) Well, I guess I have to decide what do do with you two. Namba, you go and make one of these "slings." I want to see it. Poldohtar, you go outside and practice your weapons skills.

(Nambanoldo nods, gestures to Poldohtar, and heads outside)

As the citizen gathered on the plains by the foot of the hill, Jenna had an idea
Jenna: Hm.. those barabarians wouldnt be able to attack us if we settled down. This looks like a good site.

It is a pointy rock, made of pure Jade. It is triangular and smooth

Once the things were brought together, Jenna assembeled them and formed a bow and arrow

Jenna: Its a weapon, stupid. It goes in here, pulled here, and the pointy rock flys out, piercing the person it hits.
And so, Jenna created the first bow and arrow. This pure Jade weapon is now to be passed down from generation to generation.

Matteo Vilirus enters the hut of the Jade Commandos. All look up and lift there weapons, caught by surprise by the stealthy man. He gives a hand signal to reassure the commandos, and they put down their arms. They survey the man who stands before them: he is dressed in the furs of a great bear, and carries a mighty wooden club with a stone beak for cracking open skulls.

Matteo Vilirus: Hail, Jade Commandos. I have come to join your noble group. I trust you have room at your table for another warrior?

andrew is on some plains by the foot of a hill, he notices some jade, he thinks he can make a new weapon.

cara: oh great, an invention

andrew: jade is not that good for tools, but it will work.

andrew: i have a new weapon, the knife. it is made of stone, rather short, and has a sharp blade and point.

John W. Boots returns with the knife, now a sharp 5-inch long object and much sharper than a jade knife. He calls a meeting of the Jade Commandos

As the men excitedly discuss their new knives, a large foreign-looking warrior stands in the shadows, unseen. He carries two large stone axes, one in each hand. Across his back he has a bow and quiver of arrows. He wears something unusual amongst the people here: armor. His armor is of animal hide; leather armor. It can stop arrows and knives from piercing the skin.

He stops out of the shadow and into the light, surprising the Jades. His features are not those of the locals; they are those of the barbarians.

Noval Gontsky: It's a barbarian! Get him!

Germanicus Arturius: Yield, Jade Commandos. I am one of you, I am Randomanian.

The warrior puts down the axes as a sign of friendship.

Germanicus: I have come to join your order. I hear you are mighty warriors. Will you take me, or am I going to have to fight my way back out of here?

Noval: Welcome, friend. What is your name?

Germanicus: Arturius. Germanicus Arturius.

Noval: But Germanicus is a barbarian name. Surely you are not...

Germanicus: A barbarian? Yes, I was born of Ottogoth parents, but I have lived in Randomania for 4 years now, and I am a citizen. You have nothing to fear.

Stuk Aza Peesea prepares to throw the body of the late John W. Boots into the lake nearby (he couldn't bury him because Ceremonial Burial had yet to be discovered). As Aza threw him in, a sharp object hit the ground at his feet. He picked it up, only to find out that it was a 5-inch long flint knife. He carried it with him.
Aza: I have here a knife! This will prove beneficial to me, as I now have a weapon for me to do battle with, or to carry out my dream, the dream of Boots, to...control the country!
Aza calls the Commandos back together
Aza: I will join your forces, if you join me in overthrowing the cruel, old, and senile despot! I will grant a promotion to high gentile to all who join me in this glorious cause!

Joe quickly runs home to his mother

Lauren: I know of them neither. I was orphaned. I bring with me my friend, William. Son of Bob and Jackie. He bears the odd wooden instrument.

Noval: Next hut over. You're looking for the Rouge Scholars. But, I see you are a huntsman. Come, join us.

Soon the Goast of Zeitel Jade appears

Zeitel: Have faith in my sons and my family line. You have been destened to be intertwined into the Jade Family. I ask of you is to consider my sons as alternatives incase you dont find a Noblemen to marry your daugher.

The Goast of Zeitel sits in his old chair

Zeitel: I have good faith in you and my sons. I bid you farewell.

Maximilian: Would I be able to see you again?

Zeitel: Yes, and Ill be a spirit guide for any future generation of my family

The Goast of Zeitel vanishes into thin air. Maximilian Heads to the Living quaretes of the hut to take care of the children

Maximilitan: My daughter is my only hope He said to himself

Briefus enters the Headquarters of the Jade Commandos.

"Maximillian Gontsky, I have just left Sage Atrous and he has instructed me to contact you, so you might gather the forces necessary for the initial defense of Gorina."

This definitely gets the attention of Maximillian. Briefus explains the situation and stress the point that Gorina must not fall.

"If this is what our Despot wishes, I shall do my best, Briefus."

"Thank you Maximillian." Briefus turns and heads out the door. Maximillian goes to his maps...

As ther years passed, Centurion Marcus Lifespanius proved himself worthy of promotion several times. He commanded the 100 Warriors in his Century well and was soon named Senior Centurion by the Six Tribunes of the Legion. He was now a regular member of the Councils of War.

Jadius Edgarius and Marcus became good friends and comrades. The drank together, though not often. They enjoyed the good life of a strong militry heritage.

Jadius Edgarius has heard about the assasination attempt in the Palace. He soon swiftly created a small security unit to protect the Nobles. He placed his Son, Caeser Jade, as Centurion of the Security. Incharge of Protectiong Nobles and other dignitaries.

Julius Peesea: I would like to join the worthy organization of the Jade Commandos. Keep in mind that I am not like my insane uncle Honorius, who orchestrated the assassination attempt in Gorina.

Julius Peesea walks into the hut outside of Gorina

Sentery Guard: Halt!

Juliuss Peesea: Please let me pass, I would like to join the Jade Commandos

Julius: But I am not the one who was part of...

Sentery Guard: Sorry, but the Warlord is a bit jumpy and has requested that anyone with connections to the assasin must be babysat

Sentery Guard: Sorry, but it is the Warlord's orders, now here is the Warlord.

Jadius Edgarius: What seems to be the trouble

Sentery Guard: This persion, Julius Peesea, requests to join the Jade Commandos.

Jadius Edgarius: Very well, he may join as long as he can prove his loyalty. I dont want to risk sending anyone for guard duty into Gorina that has connections to the assasin

Julius: But..

Jadius Edgarius: No buts son, all you need to do is prove your loyalty and your inocents. But if you assasinate anyone that is a Noble or an Important Dignatary, then you would have to go into.. into.. into.. Geze what is that name what you call someone who is in the Military that has commited a crime. Oh well, the Name is not important. But promise me that you will never assasinate any noble or Important or Forgen Freindly Dingnatary.

Julius: Yes.

Julius: How do you wish for me to prove my loyalty and innocence? I do promise never to attempt to assassinate any noble, royal, dignitary, etc., and not to be like my uncle.

Senior Centurion Marcus Lifespanius enters the Headquarters of the Jade Commandos. He listens to the conversation between Jadius and Julius. "Might I make a recomendation, Jadius? I think we should detail Julius to a century that is not the Security Century." Marcus explains that for reasons of safety, not only to the Royal and Noble families, but to Julius himself, it would be best not to place him in close contact with the families. Everyone seems to agree on this point.

"I also might suggest that Julius be assigned to the scouting detail that will march upriver, in search of any Viviano clan. Our scouts have a need for brave and loyal Warriors."

Julius: I would like to be a scout to find remaining Vivanos. I will bring my warrior unit with me, if that's okay with you. It has been 25 years since Nero Vivano threatened to attack, before I was even born, will he finally carry through on his threat? I am also looking forward to the speech, I will be there when it is delivered.

OOC: Would my warrior unit fall under the movement rules on units, where they could only move one territory per turn? Since the Vivanos are at an undefined location, I assume that the warriors can travel freely with the rest of the group. If not, the warriors will stay in Gorina with Cornelia.

Mara Jade III: I will, Father.

Mara Jade gathers a small warrior group of 10 units, half Warriors and half Spearmen to pay a visit to her cusion in Gorina

Jadius Edgarius: Now where were we, ahh yes. Marcus Lifespanius, Julius will be assigned to the scouting misson along with my Daughter, Mara Jade III.

Sergei Vissarus comes out of the Woods and stands on a Tree stump in the middle of the camp

Sergei Vissarus: Solders! Pesants! Lay down your arms in the name of Sergei Vissarus and the Vissarus Family. The Despot has treated you poorly. Leninus looms down to one of the Warriors, and the Warlord has also treated you badly. I urge you all to take up arms and Create a separate nation.

In the distance

Warrior #1: Who is that Nut case over there flaping his mouth.

Warrior#2: He is Leninus Vissarus. A Revolutionary

Warrior#1: Better take him down and escourt him out of the camp before he sturs up more people

Leninus: ...And so my fellow Pesants, let me lead your people into the glory of a new era and declare me Despot!

Warrior#2: Alright you, get down from there

Leninus: How dare you touch a future Despot

Warrior#1: Despot?!, Phah!. By the looks of you, you would not make it to Lower Gentry. Common, lets take him away.

Leninus: No, you cant do this to the Despot

The warrior knocks Leninus on the head taking him out

Warrior#1: Ok, People Nothing to see here, just a drunken villager just causing trouble

The Legon: Ahh, (They all talk amongs them selves)

Legonare#1: Yeah, he is right. That guy smelt like he was drunk.

The Two warriors draged Leninus Vissarus out onto the streets. Then they walk away from him. then Leninus wakes up

Sergei Vissarus: Hmm, this is to dangerous to do, Hmm.

Sergei Vissarus walks back to Nar Shaddaa
