Does anyone know where I can find a list/lists of all the wars that some major countries have been engaged in (so from as early a possible till now)?

I'm especially looking for a list about the Netherlands, but I'm also interested in lists about England, France, Spain, Russia, USA.

I've already tried to make some lists myself, but the information is not really easy to find and it also is a hell of a lot of work!

I am not sure if there is a website for this, But I bought a great book called the encyclopedia of military history about 15 odd plus years ago. It has something on almost every war or battle fought for evry nation and every era. While it does not always cover the battles in great detail it is a great reference to start with. Especially if it is an era that you know nothing about.

I have a world history book that my mom bought for me like 7 years ago, it has every single war in history, when it was fought and by who and who was the victor. It was good reading

Thanks! Those were very useful links. But I think I'll also go to the library and borrow the Encyclopedia of Military History for the non-U.S. pre-19th century wars then.
