Minimalists Co-OP

I'm going to vote to keep TCA, The Conservative Association. Although there are modern day connotations to the word conservative the actual meaning of it is the closest thing to what our group stands for:

Resist Change
Avoid Excess

Although at first I thought the choice of name reeked of bridge evenings and twinsets and pearls, Irealise that it is not the name that is important so in keeping with our aims I vote to stay as we are.

While I was the first to point out the unsavoury (at least from my PoV) RL political connotations of the name "Conservative", I have to say that it does fit the purpose of the group far more accurately than any of the other proposals. I therefore vote that the groups remains The Conservative Association. :o

I don't think that it is a bad name to begin with. And I hate seagulls, they crap on me... TCA!

I vote for the Minimalists. I think "The Conservative Association" should be changed for RL purposes, as people, especially newbies, may get confused about the goals of The Conservative Association. I for one was deterred from joining by the name for several days until I discovered that it was really a citizen group for the ruleset.

TCA definitely. Changing the name kind of goes against the "Resist Change" part of our ideology.

Let's keep TCA. We may find that we get some extra traffic from people wondering what "those Conservatives" are up to now. ;)
