I made this wonder for a mod. It kind of does what Adam Smith's Trading Company does. Of course, you could make it do what you want, but I suppose it should make you richer because the Philosopher's Stone was the formula for turning base metals into gold.

Here are the files:

http://civfanatics.net/uploads4/philostone.zip

It contains the two civpedia pics, large and small building pics, and the wonder splash.

Here's the preview:

and the Wonder Splash:

Hope you like them.

Is it a hand holding a stone up there on the pedestal, or what is it? It's kinda hard to see. Good choice of for a splash. :goodjob:

Aww . . . I was hoping for a Harry Potter scenerio . . . I love Harry Potter. The first book was called "The Philosopher's Stone" in England, right? I know it was "The Sorcerer's Stone" in America.

Anyway, I do like the graphic--even if it's not for a Harry Potter scenerio. Good job.

Well, you can call it "the touch of Midas" if you don't want to mix it with Harry Potter ;)

mrtn,

it's just the end of a scepter with a shiny rock that I put on a pedestal. The only other thing I thought of was an alchemist's lab, but I thought that would be too hard (too time consuming).
The rock represents gold, or whatever  ? Maybe an actual philosopher's stone, though as far as I know, that was just the formula, as I said, for transmuting base metals into gold.

As for Harry Potter, I like the movie. But this came from an interest in alchemy and alchemist art long before Harry Potter existed.
