Would like to know what the attack and defense values of air units mean, does the attack value influence the chances of success when making a bombing ran while the defense influence the chances of successfull intercepting an enemy bomber/strike fighter?
We have 3 types of air units (not counting missiles and stuff):
Interceptors
Multi role strike fighters
Bombers
How should I balance them? Knowing strike fighters should have better chances of avoiding enemy interceptors but wont do as much damage (less fire power than bombers), does this mean they should have better defense than bombers (defense vs interceptors) or better attack than bombers (if what influences interceptor's success is their defense, then i guess strike fighters should have higher attack to increase their chances?).
Anyone has modding experience in this area?
