This issue needs to be resolved, and that means everyone needs to vote. Should we build a granary in Noshuret or just military troops now that we have a barracks?

Yes, if it's to become a worker factory.

Noshuret should absolutely not become a worker factory. We have three other cities now that are capable of providing workers. Our capital is mostly Plains and Hills and will not regain its lost population quickly, even wth a Granary.

Still, I voted No on the Granary. If we send workers from our more food-rich cities to join Noshuret, our capital can still grow large quickly using this plan. Putting Granaries in these other cities will allow them to produce Workers for this cause, as well as tile improvement.

I don't particularly want it to become a worker factory, but a granary would help boost population growth. I voted Yes.

There's an old DG saying:

If at first you don't succeed, poll, poll again!

Ok, ok.....we'll build the Granary. ;) But let us not underestimate the power of the Size 12 Plan once we determine which cities will become our Settler/worker factories.

So true!
We already polled this. The result was clear, we were immediately to build a barracks, but not then build a granary! Of course one day we will build a granary, but there are more pressing concerns, like a military!

How true. Yet, we always manage to somehow make a comeback from mistakes and slow starts.

So, if a poll to build an improvement gives a negative result, we can never poll that again? Come one, people...

That is why a poll like this should be made up of option on what we should do FIRST, not what we wish to do abstracted from a timeline!!
