Klyde182 May 16, 2003, 04:56 PM Beautiful Ripp...Iv have a suggestion on the Panzer IV that you use a winter campainge camo like 42 or 44 winter Camos that would be really distintive... god_money May 16, 2003, 05:12 PM ::goin insane, goin' insane:: Between Akula's ships and your tanks the Civ community has much to look forward to! Akula's ships (must see) (http://www.cdgroup.org/forums/tbs/civ3/viewtopic.php?t=3015) Shady May 16, 2003, 06:47 PM ripptide. youre tanks look awesome Smoking mirror May 17, 2003, 05:04 AM Thanks riptide, they look just right, I should be able to release a partly flavoured version of my scenario in time for inclusion in the conquests expansion... Here's an StuIG33B SPG ripptide May 18, 2003, 01:59 AM an Su 76I aaglo May 18, 2003, 09:28 AM Bezeezus! Talk about high details. Wow... If you tell me you made all these from scratch, I won't believe you :D ripptide May 18, 2003, 10:15 AM depends on what you mean from scratch ). advantage of a lot of these is they're based on the same tank chassis. The Pz2 and Pz3 was a Lightwave model I picked up somewhere, but they gave me a chassis to do the mods for a lot of the other units based on it, like the marder 2 or the StuIG 33. Just had to strip the mesh down and rebuild it. ripptide Jun 08, 2003, 12:07 PM just an update on some of the units for the SOE boys mod Wyrmshadow Jun 08, 2003, 12:24 PM Ripptide, I think the only thing you have accomplished is wetting our appetites even more with the posting of THAT truly awesome image. Yoda Power Jun 08, 2003, 12:34 PM OMG that looks fantastic:goodjob: Wyrmshadow Jun 08, 2003, 04:33 PM How soon can we expect a beta release of SOE, or at the very least some of your wonderful units? Additional, can you label some of those tanks. How many different versions of the sherman do you have?? Shady Jun 08, 2003, 05:05 PM You guys need to hurry up and release these units at least regardless of how long and delayed you guys finish that scenario. ripptide Jun 08, 2003, 05:50 PM As far as when the mod is released, you'd have to check with Kentonio, recon, stainz or one of the other SOE boys for that. I'm just proiding them with some units. The units shown (so far) are: 1-SdKfz 222, SdKfz 250/3, SdKfz 250/9, SdKfz 251/1, SdKfz 251/22 2-PzKpfw 38(t), PzKpfw 1, PzKpfw 2F, PzKpfw 3J, PzKpfw 4D, PzKpfw 4H, StuG 3G 3 -StuIG 33B, Hetzer, Marder 2 4-Panther G, JagdPanther, Tiger, SturmTiger, JagdTiger, Tiger 2 5-Elefant, 75mm PaK anti-tank gun, SFH 18 105 mm Howitzer 6-20mm FlaK, 88mm FlaK 7-M3 Stuart, M4A3E8 Sherman, M4 Sherman Howitzer, M4 Sherman Firefly, M7 Priest, M3 Halftrack 8-Su-76I, T-34/76, Su-85, Su-122, KV-1, KV-2 Shady Jun 08, 2003, 06:59 PM Are those in game size? ripptide Jun 08, 2003, 07:18 PM yep, they were all scaled against the stock civ tank Hunter Jun 09, 2003, 02:32 PM Man I can not wait for these amazing units. How can I talk you into posting the sherman. or even just sending it to me for my own private use (no mods no nothing I just want it for my home game) PLEASE!!!! Risbinroch Jun 09, 2003, 02:47 PM ripptide: are you making all those units you listed above???? That's alot of units...! Hope you keep the high quality as you have in your other units... BTW: Who else is making units for this scenario, any other high-quality unit designers? Kentonio Jun 10, 2003, 01:36 PM SOE goes to testing in around a week, not a firm date but reasonably realistic. Akula is making some of the most beautiful ships I have ever seen for Civ. My brother is providing a number of top quality units. Myself and Recon are also contributing a number of units, Recon has done a quite astonishing number. We will also be using a number of TRT units, the majority of which are already previously released. I believe its currently something like.. 100+ custom units, over 50 brand new. New custom Palaces. New modified terrain set based on Snoopy and Womaks work. New full interface. Porn* Jun 10, 2003, 02:58 PM Dude... its gonna be Xmas when you release this awesome scenario... Thx for all the work you guys are putting into it Wyrmshadow Jun 10, 2003, 03:23 PM How long has the SOE project been going on? Are all the units true 3d or are some 2d and just rotating around? When you do release it, I think CF should declare a national holiday or something. Zeekater Jun 10, 2003, 03:52 PM No no Wyrmshadow, not a national holiday, but a ''we love the SOE-modders-celebration'' and perhaps even the start of a golden age!!!!! :D :king: :worship: :worship: :worship::D Kentonio Jun 10, 2003, 04:17 PM I just hope we do not disappoint. :) aaglo Jun 11, 2003, 06:14 AM ripptide, those units are really something... Lynx-Eyed Jun 16, 2003, 12:00 AM When will the SOE scenario be at civfanatics? FC_Gregorius Aug 12, 2003, 04:33 AM Do you guys realise what your doing....you have opened pandoras box. Now we are going to have over a thousand WW2 scenarios and many sleepless nights playing SOE. Can you imagine if they included Events in the next editor....we would have even more power on how the computer uses this HUGE range of vehicles. I won't lie....after seeing all those vehicles in one screenshot, I lost a lot of sleep last night. Good work guys |
