View Full Version : Missing generic units for Steph's mod
Steph May 18, 2003, 10:51 AM Here are the units I'm missing. I need something that looks generic (of course, if someone wants to make flavour units, I won't refuse them)
-Ancient & medieval era
heavy cavalry, cataphract style
-Renaissance & Imperialism
none! I have everything (providing Elsihe can help me finish converting Cossacks units, and Loulong or BAP can finish their Napoleonic units).
- Industrial
Partisan : Smoking mirror's would be good
Commando : English style with a beret.
- Modern:
Special Forces
Mountain Troops : can someone make a guy with winter camo?
That's all!
For the other units, I have what I need (except some of them are really generic, but I'll do with them)
Vdog May 18, 2003, 11:16 AM Im making a 'Modern Army Ranger' in desert camo right now, if you want I could make a version with winter camo?
This is him;
LouLong May 18, 2003, 12:22 PM Err, do you have any preference for the units I am making.
First Egyptian and Rifle Touareg then I complete the Napoleonian troops but in case you have a preference for some units of that period (I have done defaults for Dragons de l'Imperatrice et Grenadiers de la Garde only at the moment but that can be arranged if need be) let me know.
BTW thanks for expecting my units but did you have a look at the Imperial Guard Grenadier preview ? I am not sure my units will be up to your standards (not kidding !).

Someone started a Cataphract (more middle-eastern style), it might be Kinboat (just check in Yoda's thread).

Don't worry, your default Grenadier seems very good, except for the pants that seem grey, they should be white (but it may be the shadow?).
About preferences, I will take whatever I have. I already have the generic units I need, so they are not really mandatory, it's juste for flavour unit.

It would be very nice of you. And can I dare to ask you a green camo also? It would be a very good Special Force.
Vdog May 18, 2003, 02:11 PM Yeah that would be no problem, I would just have to render him in different camo.

You can do that by altering the palette, that is also a lot faster
Steph May 18, 2003, 04:21 PM I'm very bad with palette :o
Akula May 18, 2003, 04:36 PM Hey even I can do that stuff, then surely everyone can do it:p

Then CONGRATULATIONS AKULA !!!
Why ? Well, you have just won the prize allowing you in the Cossack team to finish some conversions. Aren't you glad ??
