I *hate* the fact that the game ends at the year 2050. It really effects my appreciation for the game. Can someone tell me how to change that - i.e., to set the end year to much later than 2050? Is there a saved-game editor that will do it? Do I need to hack the civ3 executable?

If you have PTW it is in scenario properties, (scenario>scenario properties) allthough you would have to save it as a scenario, say the "end of game at 2150 scenario" or you can just take off the time limit.

There are a couple of saved game editors that work to change the date. Check out the Utility forum.

Actually: In PTW there is a Game Limits button under your leaderhead face on the setup screen that can be used for default rules games.
