If you would want this plane with yet an another colour scheme, please do tell - and I even could make it ;)

Ville May 20, 2003, 12:58 AM Another great unit from you:goodjob: Thanks
Porn* May 20, 2003, 01:00 AM Nice unit Aaglo.....
I think the colour schemes gd... helps 2 distinguish them
from other fighters, especially during air defence attacks...
Klyde182 May 20, 2003, 01:10 AM It is fantastic aaglo impressive:goodjob:
Architekt May 20, 2003, 01:28 AM You just keep pumpin out the good stuff don't ya....Brilliant
zulu9812 May 20, 2003, 01:51 AM Could you perhaps change it to grey?
Risbinroch May 20, 2003, 02:02 AM Great unit, and I too wan't to see this in another color, grey perhaps, or green? If it's not to much work though...
aaglo May 20, 2003, 02:13 AM Yes, I think I could make also a gray/green version of it ;)
Risbinroch May 20, 2003, 02:15 AM fantastic...
god_money May 20, 2003, 02:53 AM Another cool unit,... and HOO-RAY for grey! :goodjob:
Rocoteh May 20, 2003, 06:14 AM Great unit!
I have added it to my personal mod.
Thanks.
nonnob3 May 20, 2003, 11:21 AM I must "take off my German Cap" to compliment you ... wunderbar! :)
Lynx-Eyed May 20, 2003, 11:34 AM I LOVE IT!!! It's good to have unit creators like you, aaglo. If you want to do it in another color, take grey.
Shady May 20, 2003, 02:33 PM well i'd like the 110 version used in europe with a terrain camo (black/grey).
trevort May 20, 2003, 09:51 PM Looks Great. Gray or gray/green would be my only suggestion.
aaglo May 21, 2003, 12:07 AM Okay, as some people have already noticed, there are both versions now available. The original is african version (or the sand version), and the new one is european version (or the night version).
Here's a portrait of the european version
aaglo May 22, 2003, 02:55 AM So, is this camo-colour OK?
Risbinroch May 22, 2003, 03:59 AM OK? It's great... I find it better than the first one
Lynx-Eyed May 22, 2003, 07:04 AM Perfect! Thanks aaglo
Kal-el May 22, 2003, 09:33 AM I really love the feel of your mechanized units!
thestonesfan May 22, 2003, 09:51 AM aaglo has a great touch. His planes are flawless.
Shady May 22, 2003, 02:16 PM camo looks awesome.
aaglo May 23, 2003, 12:14 AM Thanks for the kind comments :)
I just noticed, that the Me110Large.pcx and Me110NLarge.pcx have wrong background colour index (255) which makes it transparent, and thus MAGENTA in the civilopedia. Here are the new ones ;)
The same problem is also atleast in the B-29, Bristol Beaufighter, He-111 bomber and Turtleship. And propably in the Gloster gladiator too... :(
unscratchedfoot May 25, 2003, 01:15 AM Your units kick-ass as usual.
I haven't been to this forum in ages and wonder what happened to all the cool German units on here before like tanks and soldiers? Maybe I missed them looking through the pages but I'm pretty sure none of them are here. :(

You may find most of them at CDG - long story on Y they are no longer at Civfanatics (no need to go into detail, really)
Look over here, maybe you'll find what you are looking for... (http://www.cdgroup.org/forums/site/main/portal.php)

Actually it would be cool if you could make a night fighter version with a FuG 202 antenna in the nose! The first model to have it was the Bf 110F-4a that appeared in 1942, and from then on the type was almost exclusively used for night operations. Later sub-types of the final version, the Bf 110G-4 (which actually stayed in production longer than the Bf 110H), were equipped with FuG 220 radar, but by then the Ju 88G was the mainstay of the Nachtjagd and an early Bf 110G-4 would thus perhaps be most fun to have. :) It would make a great pair with the RAF Lancaster! The image below shows a model of a Bf110G-4a with a FuG 212 radar (a simplified FuG 202).

P.S. Bf is an abbreviation of Bayerische flugzeugwerke, which was the manufacturer. It just as the Fw in Focke Wulf. The lead designers of these companies gained such a reputation, however, that late war designs, e.g. the Me 262 and Ta 152, were called by their names (Messerschmitt and Tank). Others, e.g. Heinkel, had their name on the designs throughout the war.
