Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this file. On start up a black screen says that it is missing, it's really starting to annoy me so I'm looking for another copy of it.

Did you have zone alarm and recently uninstall it? If so, reinstall it, and msconfig it not to startup after booting.

I had ZoneAlarm but it completely pissed up on me. It kept on denying me access to the internet so I had no choice but to uninstall. I also had to edit the registry but I followed the instructions they had given me precisely. But this was months ago and I have had no problems since. I don't really want to re install ZA because most likely it will deny me access to the internet like it did before when I tried to reinstall.

Search the registry (via regedit) and the win.ini and system.ini (e.g. via sysedit) for that vxd file and delete all the entries you find. In usually all cases the problem will be corrected.

Since this file is part of ZoneAlarm, you may safely delete any instance of it you find.

If it's blocking you from the internet, it's simply either your security setting are too high, or you unknowingly denied it access, which is something you can change.
