The current despotess of Fanatia is Bellona Lifespania.

This thread will contain information about the imperial family as well as announcements of the despot. It will also be used for communication to the populace.

the palace is opened with some good news:

1) fanatica officially appooved existance of atrouia and depaolo as souvereign nations. they will not claim lands which were not assigned to them according to the attached map.

2) for support during the crisis, stuck character (name will be placed here soon... im just too confused now) will receive the 6 tiles south east of atrouia. his lands will be part of fanatica

3) the lifespanian line, represented at the moment by bellona, will receive a part of fanatican soil as private ownership for their lifelong dedication to peace and the success of our nation. the lands will remain part of fanatica.

Dearest Sir John, this is what was told us by the despot of DePaolo... weird. You should talk to your new rules now, as we accepted them as souvereign nation. But as those are of course internal affairs of Depaolo, we will not interfere.

Addition to the above map: The land marked there as Depaololand will obviously be split between 3 nations. Neronia wants to be an independant state, as well as another landowner wanting independance. Fanatica will not add additional land tiles to the claim-matrix, as such the blue area will have to be divided between those 3 nations up there.

Caeser: Yes I have. And the men are wondering on what to do with Vladmirus's and Sergi's bodies. Since the corps are proof that the killing has happened before I chuck them out in the garbage heip

Ceasar Jade enters the audience room of the palace. As he enters, The despotess immediately looks up and her face brightens up... she smiles... and walks over to Caesar
Bellona: "Hello my friend, do you bring good news?"
Ceasar kees on the ground
Caesar: "Hail Bellona! I bring the best possible news for our situation!"
Bellona: "Stand up my friend..."
Bellona takes Caesars hand and forces him to stand up... He seems a bit uneasy and looks around... He suddenly notices a strange feeling... warm... something he rarely felt before.
Caesar: "Ehhh.... If you wish mylady..."
Bellona: "Follow me to the throne please. You must tell me all, in all detail! Servants, bring something to eat, Caesar must be very hungry!"
Caesar: "Ehhh... I would like to report the successful fullfilling of my order, mylady.... Ehhh."
Ceasar suddenly turns red. He never experienced a situation where he didnt know what to talk before
Bellona: "Ah comeon! Dont be shy..."

Mara Jade III: Yeah, Caeser dont be shy.

Caeser Jade: Bellona, I have been developing a feeling in my heart for you

Bellona smiles once again at Caeser. Mara Jade III noticed Caeser has forgotten something

Mara Jade III: Excuse me, Ceaser Have you forgoten about the war prize we have in the bag, by that guard over there.

Caeser Jade: Oh yes. Bellona what should we do with Sergi and Vladmirus's bodies?

OOC: Sir John controlls some of the Nar Shaddaa land, and I have a tile of it.

Bellona: "Oh Cearar... you are really the best... Uhmm...."
Bellona also turns red and looks away from Caesar... she backs out a step and looks at the populace
Bellona: "Fanatican people. You will now see what we will do with our enemies. Guards, the bodies of Sergi and Vladmirus will be put up on stakes at the mountains of Gorina, for all our enemies to see them. This will show all people what will happen to them if they fight fanatica."
The guards take the bodies and walk out of the room.
Bellona: "I would now like to have a private talk with Ceasar. So the audience is closed and the people will leave."
After a while, Caesar and Bellona are alone in the throne room

Kaite: Thank you, oh Nobel despot. We women have to stick together, you know. This land will go to good use. The Province of DiSaaMuel... I like it.

BELLONA's ANNOUNCEMENT:

People of Fanatica!

I herewith announce the long planned marriage between Caesar Jade and me, Bellona Lifespania.

The Marriage will result in Caesar being the despot of fanatika and under full administrative controll of the nation... but under some preconditions he must met:

1) All land claimings which are defined at the moment of the marriage must not be declined by the despot nor changed in any matter
2) No additional fanatican soil shall be given to foreign nations in addition to the claims already proclaimed. The only exception is Atrousia.
3) The ownings of the lifespania family line, called "Hellenatica" and be defined as province of fanatica, will remain in the family. The Jade Family will not be part of this heritage line.
4) Only the direct descendants of Bellona and Caesar will be called Imperial. Not their further relatives.
5) The Lifespania Family will be called Royal.
6) Which of the descendants of this marriage belong to the Lifespanian Family Line will be defined by Bellona or Helena.
7) Ceasar will adopt the name "Flavinius Jadius Lifespanius Caeser"
8) Bellona will adopt the name "Diutia Jadius Lifespanius Bellona"
9) The descendants of this marriage which belong to the lifespanian line will be called "Jadius Lifespanius", the others will be called "Jadius" only.
10) all units under controll of Helena and Bellona will remain under their controll. The despot has to raise new troops.

this means in short: The lifespanian line will take all lands marked yellow. They will not be owned by the despot. The despot has full controll of the red marked areas as soon as we gain controll of them. He is also allowed to give them to other people (not nations!)
All already defined "claims" remain intact.

Hail, Caeser. I bring to you today my son and my daughter, both ripe for marrying. Is their anyone in your or Belonna's family that is in need of a mate? Both of my children are quick, smart and witty. Smith is a very persuasive person, but he has a problem with rules. Fortuna is loud and annoying at times, but she is a wonderful girl. It would please me greatly if either of my children were to marry into either family.
Also, while I am here, I wish to gain ownership of the Horses of Noshuret. I have an idea to begin having them carry palace officials in carriages to speed up response time for a new wonder I have developed, Paperwork.

Josephus Strummerus enters the abode of the Despot of Fanatica. He approaches the great leader unarmed, with only peace on his mind.

Josephus: M'lord, I approach you this day with a proposition for the betterment of Fanatica. As I'm sure you know, Great One, the populace is suffering from poverty and inequality. They are poor and starving, abandoned by the high nobles who rule over them. They have nothing to call their own, and are beginning to resent Your Majesty's Government for it. But I believe I have a solution. Allow me a parcel of land, small, perhaps 3 tiles. I will allow the impoverished peasantry to live and work there, with the fruits of their labor of course going to the Government. I will give them equality, which is what they desire most. I will see to it that they are not poor and starving as they are now. I am sure this will avert any peasant uprising that is sure to come with these miserable conditions. Of course my land would answer to the Despot of Fanatica, and would in no way move to harm Fanatica like the other rogue states have. What do you say, my liege?

Caeser Jade: I need to check with the Royal Cartographer. Res assure that you will get your Land Grand :).

Josephus: Thank you, my lord. You will not be disappointed. I guarantee results. By improving the lives of the lower classes, you will also be improving the lives of your upper classes as well. When your cartographers have found suitable land, please contact me.

Caesar Jade: I will do that, Josephus Strummerus. Also, perhaps you would like to teach the court minstrels this new style of music you play? And perhaps give the plans for the instrument to the court woodworkers?

Josephus: Gladly, sire.

The Land of DePaolo would like to trade for Iron, and to use the Barracks at Noshuret to upgrade warriors to legions. I sware not to use these troops to attack mother Fanatica, and if I do I will let you walk all over me.

Bellona of Helenatica:
Dearest Caeser, i would like to suppose signing a major contract with our neighbors:

1) our neighbors give us any resource they will have in their territory in the future for free
2) our neighbors allow us free usage of their roads to pass through their ownings
3) our neighbors pledge not to attack fanatican soil

on the fanatican side:
1) we allow our neighbors to use the barracs in fanatica
2) we allow our neighbors to use our iron resource near gorina for troop upgrades

what will not be included from the fanatican side:
1) we will not include iron for private or business usage. the iron MUST be used for troop upgrades and nothing else
2) we will only allow tresspassing of our soil on a case by case descission

i think you should officially write this down and go to negotiations with our neighbors.

if they dont comply, we should immediately stop delivery of the resource (in case of atrouia) or not deliver at all (in case of the ONSS).

-We reserve the right to stop Fanaticans at checkpoints along the Atrouian roads.
-Fine Atrouian horses and other wares are not to be sold to any nation without Atrouia's prior concent.

if yes i just want to point out that only the people owning iron can bulild swordmen or legions.

OOC: I just sent in the Paperwork making it offical that GM has the lands. GM's Land grant can be found in the Land Office. Sorry for the confusion.

A word of caution to Bellona: The conflict manager's indicate that she controls 15 units, though her charisma remains at 14. At this point, the risk of rebellion by one or more of here forces has gone up significantly. I recommend that someone else be placed in charge of these troops at once.

Julia: I have a new request. Will you make Lake Asphinxia and the surrounding area a province under my control? This would be a good place for me to fight Egypt, if they decide to attack, plus it would be a good place for me to go from Nar Shaddaa. Here would be the borders of the new province:

OOC CG: As I have just returned from my vacation I have a lot of reading to do but I need to remind of our deal. (the five tiles) I will find them asap and then send u a pm. It may take a while since there is a lot to read and I need to see who owns what by now..

I have read trough most parts of the recent happenings and I found that civanator and bootsoots are such cowards that they attack me while Im on a vacation. U shouldnt trust them and dont give them land. U should take all of civs land away from him as he just said this: " I have been taking down countries left and right"

I say that u should take him down before he gets bigger and attacks u. About the tiles, I would like to have the tiles surounding the doughnautia thingy city. (maby its expansion as well.) It would be a region of fanatica as U are the only guy I can trust that u wont attack me. Plexus probably wont neither but anyway. I would be very glad if u did this for me as we have cooparated so many times before. As I have no land in the moment Im only lower gentry (AFAIK. Or am I still imperial? Not sure about this). If Im lower gentry as I belive I am it would be nice to get an upgrade to high noble or royal. U know that I would do this for u. :D

BTW: remember to come into the chat so we can discuss any details if needed...

SJ- I have proclaimed all your Nero characters at Noble. They are alive. I could have slaughtered them. Take it easy, it is a game.

@Civ: As I do thank u for not killing of my characters I think this was a very cowardly attack as I was gone. I had clearly said so and asked to not be attacked. I tought better of you. I will move away from Nar shadda as soon as I get tiles from cg.

BTW: I dont think civ can give out titles as he isnt a despot anymore. only the despot can do that...

Sue me then. I am royalty, and I said in my province unless the despot has other plans.

dearest caeser, i would like to offer you the service of the 1st helenatican regiment in the war against egypt. at the moment i am recruiting a glorious leader for this regiment to controll it, and i will sent the regiment to the frontline asap thereafter.

the regiment consists atm of 12 legions, 3 spearmen. the number of units may be increased later on if the charisma of the leader will be higher. but as we did not yet decide on the character leading the forces, i need to wait.
