I'm currently running a game in PTW with a map of 300x300 (I just wanted to...) with 999 as the max amount of turns (I just wanted to...) with all the civs... AND I decided the only way I would ever enter a war is if they started it. BUT, I had a VERY, and I emphasize VERY bad day at work today, so, I'm going to take out my frustrations on those poor enemy civs...

I selected Random for my civ, as I wanted to play a civ that I haven't been before (at least in Civ 3), and got the English... wonderful... I've got my work cut out for me, I guess... I hate their UU, as I NEVER initiate a naval war... NEVER!!

So, I grabbed me a couple of Faygo's, and am about to start weeding those poor souls off of this earth.

DIE!!

Crow, don't knock the English. I recently got my first Emperor level win with 'Liz. Use the expansionist trait to explore early and pick off goody huts. The Man o War doesn't have to win any wars for you, just trigger your GA - and that comes at a good time. I actually enjoyed playing England. Have fun!

so far, i'm doing decent with them, in this war to avenge my bad day... so far, I lost one city, which was only guarded by a worker :) and the only units they've sent that have actually made it IN to my territory are a settler and a spearman...

I've just never played them before, so wasn't sure I'd do it well ;)
