I can't install any of the patches for PTW. I went for both 1.21 US and 1.14 EU versions and in both cases after applying patch civ says that it can't find IFC32.dll

I am not even sure what version I do have since there is no version number showing in the left lower corner of the title screen. What does it mean ? - I bought the PTW second-handed (as you cannot get it here) but definitely looks like original one.

Can anyone please help me with that one?

I am really going nuts as I have just downloaded Double Your Pleasure mod and I can't play it....:

In the mean time I have read a lot of other forum messages and I worry that I MIGHT HAD BOUGHT A BETA VERSION of PTW -- as I read that betas don't show any version number at all (which is my case).

Jez, that actually saddened me more than irritated - how can you cheat people like that? I paid 15 EUR for it - not so much, that's right, but still....
Somebody took a great effort of making it look like original, I didn't get a box but CD had everything imprinted on it. I would just never had thought it is possible to sell betas to other people..

I would never go for a second-handed if you could get it in the shop, but here (Czech Republic) you just can't.
