I am an avid Civ player. Played Civ1, Civ2 and now Civ3.

My problem here is that I borrowed my Civ3 CD to a friend and he gave it back broken (a crack that goes 1.5cm in the CD from the middle) and now I cant get my CD or DVD player to read the CD anymore. I am stuck!!! How can I repair this? Anyone can help?

I think I am experiencing withdrawal symptoms :D

:nono: Never never lend your Civ3 out!

Actually, you *might* be screwed. :( Contact Infogrames/Atari, and explain the problem. You might be able to swap the broken disk for a new one.

If all else fails, you might have to shell out the $$ for a new one. :(

Ok, I'll try that out.

And from now on, I make a back up copy of my favourite game cDs and only use the copy, not the original (still legal, right?) :D

That's called "Fair Use" and is perfectly legal. :D

Good! Like this I am sure.

Thx for the help. I'll let you know if it worked.

I really hope it does but I also wont kill me to have to buy the game again (Might kill my friend though :flamedevi ) It is such a good game, the best in its genre.

Long live Civilization!! :worshp:
