Hello, I am a little new here so I hope I do not cause to much trouble.
I have been playing CIV 3 for quite a while now and enjoying every bit of it. However just yesterday I encountered an error I have never seen before.
When selceted to start the CD drive starts up and things are going good. The display size changes and I get the first bit of sound and then my screen go blank.
The only way to kill the application is with Task Manager. The Civilization3.e process consumes about 98 percent of the processing power until killed.
I have looked for patches to apply that could potentially fix this error. I have unistalled and re-installed several times. I have upgraded my OS version to take advantage of the latest patches to Windows 2000 professional.
Any thoughts?
The Civ editor does work However and I am able to create new maps etc. I simply can't play the game.
:(
