Now that Literature is discovered we need to decide if the Great Library should be built.

This poll will remain open until the next Turnchat (approx 24 hours). Edited from 48 to 24, looked at the calendar and saw 48 wouldn't fit... ;)

There are two yes immediatly options. If the votes for the two immediate options added together are higher than both the "yes later" option and the no option taken singly, then we start immediately on the one which got the most votes.

If you choose yes-later, please post your desired timeframe in this poll thread.

This isn't the cleanest way of doing it, but the only way to capture a complete set of options in a single poll, which is all we have time for.

I think we should start it immediately in Gorina.

I voted NO. Gorina is the only suitable city to start a Wonder for us, but it still needs some mining. Because we need to change Gorina's roaded plains tile to a grassland for growth, the GL would be a long way off. Greece is already building it and 3 other cities may cascade to it from the Pyramids. I believe the only way we should go for the GL is with a great leader. As Mayor of Gorina, I would say the production schedule would be better set at Library, Barracks, and then some Legions until we were ready to start a pre-build of the Hanging gardens.

I agree with the Mayor of Gorina on this one. In the early going here, we should not dedicate our top city's production to an ongoing project, especially if we are considering an offensive war.
