The issue about hurrying our Golden Age has been bothering me during this war, and I get the feeling my previous poll didn't adaquetly cover this issue.

So because of the concern over this issue I want to know where we stand on our Golden Age.

Thank you, Falcon, for posting this poll. I was just getting ready to do so.

First, I must make a plea to all fencesitters to not vote for the middle option(just wait a little longer). We don't have enough workers in the field to make a significant land improvement difference in a very short time. We either go to war using our Legions now or we don't.

That said, I voted for Crush Cleo aka war. Our Legions must be used now while they can do the most damage, and please remember that they are not upgradable.

Also remember that our GA can be triggered if a Legion wins a victory on defense. I would rather that Legion victory came on our terms, fighting back the Egyptians.

Egyptians are already outside one of our cities, and several more may be on the way. Let us waste no time in driving Cleo's troops all the way back to Thebes. We can only do so by using our Legions.

No really: I think it's more important to get some Egyptian cities and a GA then to wait for a 'better suitable age'. I don't think destroying the Egyptians completely would necessarily have to be our goal. Get the Legionairs to do their job, profit from the GA and take some cities. Then sue for peace and get us back in track. Treat the Egyptians fairly after that, it isn't their fault they have such a bad faraoh. But if they wanty to be destroyed, destroy them. [phaser]
