When i launch Civilization 3 or Play the world i get an error saying "Civilization 3 has caused an error in (unknown) Civilization 3 will now close if you continue to expierience problems, try restarting your computer"
So I click okay but it does not close it just keeps popping up after i have hit enter about 20 times the game continues to load and seems to work fine but when i am in the game everytime i go to move or do anything it pops up agian. Please help i already emailed the techys at infrogames but it has already been a week. Did any of you ever have this problem.

If you haven't already tried it:

1. Uninstall all PtW patches and Civ3 patches (from the Add/Remove Programs section in your Control Panel)
2. Uninstall PtW
3. Uninstall Civ3
4. Make a backup of any savegames or scenarios you want to keep.
5. Delete the Civilization III folder manually
6. Install Civ3
7. Install PtW
8. Install the latest PtW patch (1.14f or 1.21f depending on which version of PtW you have.)

No I tried that and it still comes up is there any way to simply turn off error messages cause it seems to work fine other than that error message

Try turning off any other programs you have running. It could be an antivirus or firewall program, reacting to the exe file.

There's no (known) way to turn off the error messages.

What OS you using? I assume it's Win98 or WinME, but just want to be sure...
