first, after many install of the game 1 facts came out:
none of the PTW patches works.

i got a 800mhz, 384 mo ram, geforce4 32mo, 3gig on the hard drive, ( the game worked fine until i add some ram )

also i cant uninstall the game properly, it fail to open a SETUP.DLL so i had to delete the game manually....

can i still play by direct ip on the net? i havent try it out...

What happens when you remove the ram? Does it work fine then? If so, I think I have a guess on what the problem is. :)

I'm not following your question. How can you tell if your RAM is corrupt? Ask again and I'll answer the best I can. Thanks.

ok, that one is simple.

my cpu wasnt stable for more than 5min.
i lost for 350mo of data on the hard drive.
my session ( win XP ) is corrupted (i.e. cant log on anymore)
strange/weird things appen...

i run a program for test my ram and i got the confirmation:
it was corrupted:cry:

so i change my corrupted ram for another one and i got no trouble till then.

are you using broadband or a phone modem to connect to the internet? When I first started trying PTW, all I had was phone modem and it would crash on me every time I tried multiplayer. Only after I got a cable modem did it begin to work. To this day, I am not sure why that is.
