Just thought it would be interesting to see the m/f ratio. I've got a feeling there are a lot more girls/women playing Civ than any other game I've played.

IIRC last poll on General Discussions showed a 13-15% women. But it might be different in the GOTM community.

Seriously though they are 10 and 7 now so they are starting to do things by themselves, so free time is on the increase :).

We're both computer junkies, spending most nights online after the kids go to bed. Can't seem to get her interested in Civ though. Or Ultima Online, the other game I play. She plays Heroes of Might and Magic, (if you can call it playing, she uses the cheat codes :D).

Male - married :love: & 4 kids - very limited time to play :cry:

Female (well duh!) living with civ hating partner... although he might come around eventually!

I've often been asked what planet I'm from. But I do seem to be biologically compatible as a human male.

Although male, I was mistaken for female in the chat room.

The reason? Because I could understand the install instructions for GOTM!

You see...there is a different between boys and girls. For boys, they usually just zip down, do their things, then zip up. " Done! IIRC, if you are a selfproducing alien entity, it means that you are gay. I guess it is the new term that net people use nowadays.
