When I was marching my Tanks up from South America into Panama, only one lousy Spearman stood in my way. I sent a Tank to attack him and it got creamed. I eventually did conquer the English (who started out in modern-day Panama), but this gave the enemy time to rebuild. It was then that I decided to change that so that other players wouldn't suffer the same fate as me, so I created Civ3+.

what did you do, exactly?
I noticed an upgrade of tank attack, defense and bonus hp. This will make swordsmen beating tanks less likely to happen, but it won't make it impossible

A problem ! A mod called "Civ3+" already exist, ask to Drift :goodjob:

I know you were the first to have a mod called Civ3+ (released in November 2002), unluckily I found this out after I had already released mine. However, I think some kind of solution should be found. Even with the "Civ3++" title, this is too confusing for people who have no knowledge of either mod - it sounds like the mods are related to each other in some way.

So, I'm open to suggestions and realize that since you were the first to use the name, I can't force you to change it. However, I'd ask you to consider it. I have some alternatives for "Civ3+" in case I have to rename my mod, but am a little hesitant to do it.

i created a formum for this mod at least 8 months ago. i only call this version "version 1.0" because nobody is going to remember that i posted a much older version of this mod in November of 2002. so i actually had the name first. BTW, there is a bug. for some units, you need to press "U" or "Ctrl+Shift+U" to upgrade instead of clicking the upgrade button.

Sims2789: I do acknowledge that you got the name earlier, there's no need to give me proof as I have linked the same thread as a proof for Yoda. I was just trying to scout out some possibilitites. It seems that you are just as reluctant to give up the name as am I, so maybe I should start considering my choices for a new name.

Drift, I think that would be a good solution. Rename yours, and I will rename this thread back to Civ+.

here is a version that i made were none of the Civs starts out with a type of government other than Despotism. in the normal Civ3+, some civs could start a Revolution in the firsts turn(the Greeks could become a Democracy immediately). i realized that this unbalenced the game, so, i altered the current version to re-balence the game. enjoy!
NOTE: For now on, I will have two versions of Civ3+; the normal version and the All Despotism version.

Version 1.11 was downloaded 5 times.
