So I was sitting there in my computer chair trying to figure out what a good enjoyable scenario would be. World War II obviously comes up. But I just didn't feel like taking the time to make a huge map with all the cities in place and thousands of units etc. etc. etc.
So I think back to my Civ2 days and realize, wow that was a fun World War 2 scenario. Very addictive and fast-paced. So I get the idea:
Why not recreate the Civ2 World War II scenario into PTW?? :D
Which is what I'm working on right now. I'll finish it up pretty soon. It's going to be exactly the same as the Civ2 scenario except the leaderheads, flavor units, graphics, etc. etc.
Now in the meanwhile, while I'm working on this scenario, I was wondering if anyone here had the time to make a unit that's used a lot in this scenario.
The Alpine Troops.
Fast paced units ignoring the movement cost on tundra squares. Pretty good offensive and decent defense. They'd certainly be an interesting addition to the game and vital to this scenario.

Anybody else like this idea and the unit?
