View Full Version : Question Inter4 Jun 18, 2003, 10:48 PM Why can't I use my Intel camera with XP??? It worked with win 98:confused: CornMaster Jun 18, 2003, 10:55 PM Cause WinXp doesn't support it probably. Check Intel's site for a new driver. www.intel.com The core of Win98 and WinXP are VERY different. So they require totally different drivers. Inter4 Jun 18, 2003, 10:57 PM I downloaded the driver...I installed it ...I did everything it said and still doesn't work!!! CornMaster Jun 18, 2003, 10:58 PM Did you reboot? Inter4 Jun 18, 2003, 11:04 PM yes CornMaster Jun 18, 2003, 11:10 PM What kind of Camera is it? Inter4 Jun 18, 2003, 11:27 PM Intel PC Camera model CS330 I'm gonna be back in 6 days...we''ll talk then ...thanx for the help CornMaster Jun 19, 2003, 11:06 PM Is this the driver you downloaded? http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df/Detail_Desc.asp?agr=N&ProductID=460&DwnldID=3614 I'm looking for more issues about it though. You should describe what the problem is...and what error you get. This might help too: http://support.intel.com/support/createshare/camerapack/deluxe/ I know that the software that came with my Camera from Creative doesn't work in XP and I had to get Third Party edited software....but it looks like Intel is on the ball. You can't use your Win98 CD but you should be able to download WinXP programs or get an upgrade CD (I was reading on the support site) I know the WinXP support for Camera's (or at least mine) sucks pretty bad. Inter4 Jun 20, 2003, 01:42 PM Yeah..thats the driver I downloaded. And thanx a lot for your help :goodjob: CornMaster Jun 20, 2003, 08:27 PM Originally posted by Inter32 Yeah..thats the driver I downloaded. And thanx a lot for your help :goodjob: So did it work? |
