Plexus has won the mid-term election for the right to govern our Eastern Province, and is eager to get started. But first, we must set up some provincial borders for this region.

Please post any ideas plus maps that you may have. I will try to submit a proposal tomorrow afternoon.

If no decision has been made by Sunday June 22nd, I will draw up temporary borders so that Plexus may legally run his province.

This is just my random thoughts on the matter. The southern boundary is just a short line between the water and the eastern boundary uses the river to divide. This also in fact defines a new province in the south by default. So we made need another governor.

I approve of those proposed borders. We should poll this soon.

I think we should just let the President fix the borders so the province can get up and running. Then we (as citizens) can debate the lines that are drawn and decide on any wanted changes then poll. We elected a governor, now let him have a province to govern!

Is there any reason why Plexus cant make a start already? I have no objections to Plexus controlling all cities east of Capitoline until the borders are decided.

Although there is nothing wrong with this idea and I second it, we'll need to know if it's constitutional. Actually, Plexus is already working on things 'behind the scenes' just as most of us would. :goodjob:

Well, I don't support this border proposal cos it is not astetic nor highly functional. I'm gonna go whip up a couple more (I had lots, but they were based on a different border for Capitoline).

BTW, now I am back on deck adn Domestic Leader I would like to continue running these polls. :)

While we are waiting for a resolution on this issue, I am granting Governor Plexus full reign of all cities east of the Capitoline landbridge.

This is my new proposal.
I have 2 different borders proposed.
The first one follows the geography but I think it may be bigger than allowed by the 'province size' vote. The second proposal of mine is smaller and probably is just the right size but doesnt follow the geography all that well.
If there are no more new submissions by 12pm forum time tommorrow I will put all the suggestions to the vote. :)

Well a bit of disaster really. After lengthy discussions and 2 polls we are still no clearer to defining Aventine.
The will of the people in this case is to not bother voting.

So I ask, what do we do now?

I say we let the new Governor figure it out. If I was the Governor, that's what I would be saying. :) Of course If I was the President, I say the President was entitled to do it...

Not much help am I? Why don't we just let the Domestic leader do it and be done with it...

Let's do a province borders runoff poll, with the tying results from last time being repolled. If we let the Governor choose, he should have to choose from between the two options that tied.
