I was wondering what anybody would think about setting, say a certain percentage of stealth for different units. An example would be a B-2 Stealth Bomber would have a higher Stealth rate than an F-22.

Hmm, interesting...

And even though I'm pretty sure you're only talking about air units, it wouldn't have to be limited to them. For example, a freely-moving rifleman would have more stealth than a heavily armoured medieval infantry. And a guerilla would probably have the highest level of stealth of the ground-units. Maybe 3 settings: a poor stealth ground unit would have a 10% chance of being picked up by another unit when it's two squares away, a medium-stealth unit would be normal, and a high stealth unit would have a 10% chance of not being picked up when one square away. Or something like that. :hmm: Maybe not, though... But with air units it's a sure thing that this would be good. :)

Speaking of stealth units, and i KNOW this has been brought up before, but they ougut to make them have higher bombard ratings or something, because i NEVER hit with stealth bombers or fighters.

That idea of more stealth than others is pretty intersting also. Shooting down stealths would be cool, i think it wasd done in serbia or something.

there is a slight chance u can shoot down a stealth plane. But it is possible. I like the idea of havin stealth ground units. Maybe snipers that could be invisible to a certain percentage. Or special forces that can secretly secure certain things with out detection. Maybe it would make a nice guirrila war were as u being the general have to seek the enemys and eliminate them before the do sabatouge to your great empire....makes me salavate (spelling?)

Hmm thats an interesting idea. You would have to have some units that could detect stealthed units though. Otherwise it would be too unbalanced having a ton of units running around stealthed in your enemy's territory, and him having no way of seeing them.

I also think that the stealth bomber should have its success rate GREATLY increased. Its stupid that they only hit like less than half the time.
