I have repeatedly send him PM's with question what a Governorship means, but he has so far neglected to give me advise or even reply. I know he has had connection problems, but he was online Jun 21 st so he could have answered.

I have lost all confidence in AJ. I will not back him.

If I'm understanding it right, by custom a candidate may run for two offices, and if elected to both decline one office.

A candidate can only be the Leader of one department. If he wins more than one position he has to decline all but one.
Personally, I believe that a candidate should only be allowed to run for one office.
However at the moment we are seriously lacking in candidates.

We've been able to run for as many as we wanted since the old CoS election rules were scrapped along with all of our other laws and standards. I think we should be allowed to run for as many positions as we please as we are lacking candidates at the moment, it can't cause much of a problem if we can only take one office.

Ah, well, I guess my head is still in DG2... :p
