Thanks for doing this new poll Plexus. I had forgotten the other one was closed. oops.

Even though the borders have been polled twice by two different people we still have no clear answer. Therefore I propose that the new President lays out the border.

I agree, we are getting nowhere fast, this way.

The important thing to know is which cities are in the province. It seems both proposals include the same cities. If this is correct then there is still time to set the final borders, for the governor can submit build queues for the cities without knowing the exact provincial borders.

I think part of the problem in getting an answer is the short duration of the poll. Polls such as these can run for more than 48 hours. I suggest checking with eyrei or DZ to see if this poll can be reopened. One benefit of the much maligned quorums was that they allowed us to have open ended poll durations such as this poll will remain open for 48 hours or until quorum is reached.

Unfortunately Proposal 1 excludes Memphis but Proposal 2 includes Memphis. So there is a difference. I was not expecting a draw otherwise I would have stipulated a contingency. Perhaps a brand new poll with all 4 choices can be reintroduced with a 48 hour limit but with the option of a golden vote if the tie is repeated?

If I was able to vote I'd vote Proposal 2. (I didn't vote yet ;))

I have asked our moderators if it is possible to re-open this poll.

I just voted proposal #2 several minutes ago. I thought I had already answered the poll before.:o

Since it is in all our interests for as many people as possible to vote, I propose that this poll be closed, with the aurhor's support, midnight July 8. This allows plenty of time for people to vote

I ask for the closure of this poll, the people have chosen option two.
