Hey guys. I need some computer help. Every time I try and boot up my desktop, it won't boot up.

When it gets to the Windows XP loading screen, it quickly goes to a blue error message screen. The error message is the same everytime. The error message is "UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME."

Does anyone know what possibly could be wrong? I try and load safe mode but it still gives me the same error message. Would it be something with my motherboard? I've opened up my computer and checked to see if everything was connected and it was. I'm guessing it is an internal problem with the hardware. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The boot record is corrupt.

It knows Windows is supposed to be there...but it can't actually mount the drive in my computer (well not really...but still).

You should boot off the WinXP CD and try and automatic recovery.
