At the beginning of a game the difficulty is sometimes very hard and on the emperor :king: level i canīt get any wonders up to the modern age. Later in the game i have all under my control and i sweep all opponents from the map. Thats to easy, so it would be great if i could change the difficulty in the running game!

yes, or the game could gradually get harder/esier as the game progresses, maybey based on your score, like if you have a really high score the game would get harder.

It's not a bad idea to be included as option: Switch to harder / easier level.

One negative though: I start off at Regent, wait a turn, then up it, thus denying the extra units to the AI.

What do you think about that?

It would make sense during an Age change, I agree with that

You can use Graphos' CMT to change the difficulty mid-game if you so choose. :p
