I'm not sure if this question has been answered but I ask you to please not be annoyed if it has. Just direct me to the answer or answer it.

I had Civ III running fine on my old computer. It was a crappy Gateway not worth the electricity that ran it, but Civ III had no problems except slow loading. I recently built a very nice computer so compatability i dont think has much to do with the problem I'm having.

I've installed Civ III and it seems that everytime i try to play I get a fuzzy screen, you know like when you're going through channels on your TV and you find one that doesn't come in. How it's snowy. Thats somewhat how it looks except not snowy... Heh. ANywho I thought at first it might be resolution so I've tried it at different resolutions as well. Nothing seems to work but Im sure the brilliant minds on these message boards can give m some kind of answer. My monitor might be the problem but I dont see how. It's not a greagt monitor (in fact I found it in the trash since i didnt have enough money to buy my own) but it runs all my other games fine. So I really dont think it's that...

Anywho... if you can give me an answer I'm all ears. I'd take a screen shot to show you what it looks like but well... I can't see anything after it happens...

About 13 I guess... As I said it's not really the best monitor or in the best shape but if the monitor is the problem I have enough money now to go out and buy another. I plan on doing it anyway, but I don't see the monitor being a problem since it runs much better graphical games without much problem. IE: Command and Conquer: Generals, Battlefield 1942, America's Army, etc.
