Let's build that Maginot Line and keep all of the AI tribe out. There must be better ways to make gold than letting them set up camp on our lands.

We are going to revolt soon, so no production those turns. If we give RoP the Greek can get to our soil too fast with their settlers. We haven't filled our lands yet and and a RoP is an open invitation to trample on our soil to claim our godgiven lands.

If we are to avoid wars and build the Maginot Line with our glorius Legions then what harm is there in making a little gold off of Alex? If our Legions are preventing the Greeks from entering our lands then they gain nothing and we risk nothing while increasing our treasury by over 20%. This additional gold could be used to fund an increased science rate allowing us to get currency faster.

We are trying to block the aztec settlers. You also think we have enough units to block Greek units? Perhaps only in the desert near Noshuret, but that would mean giving up (parts of) the peninsula east of Regia Doughnutia (We need to get a name for that region ! )

I can see your point, donsig. But the "Line" would be to keep the AI from coming into our yet unclaimed lands and building cities in the NE Territory. As you well know the greeks are equal to us as far as Techs go, so they probably have galleys. We don't need them showing up on our beaches for a pleasure tour of our cities. I have created a map showing a possible "Line" for us to implement. It's just a suggestion, I'll also post this in the Citizen's Subforum.

No RoP.

We already have one settler. Another will be ready next turn. We may well end up postponing the revolution until we have currency which would allow for even more settlers to be raised before anarchy sets in.

@Cyc: If the Greeks have galleys they would not need to land on our beaches and use the RoP to settle our lands - they could sail right to the unsettled parts directly.

An RoP will allow our two warriors to come home as well.
