Because of the crisis I've refrained from acting until it has abated. You should all be aware of what I speak. As I'm devoted to serving the people, I'm polling them now. Should an overwhelming majority appear, I will change my status.

I'll copy what I said in Curu's:

looking at the last t/c, it wouldn't of mattered much if anyone were there or not. Keep on refraining.

If you go back to acting, it might not matter much, because if the elections for JA last 48 hours, like planned, then we will have less than 3 hours to do a PI for Donsig until the next t/c.

EDIT: I made this post last night, when I was very sleepy, and looking at it now i don't understand half of what i said. I wish to change my vote to YES

Of course you should resume your duties as Governor of Aventine Province. You're the Governor. The people of your Province need you, Noldo. Don't be silly. ;) Now get back to work or I'll sic the dwarves on you.

Noldodan,

Boycotting your position will do nothing to help our current situation. If you have a dissenting voice on this matter, it is all the more reason to stick around and make it heard.

I voted Yes.

Since we appear to be creating two near identical threads here, who am I to buck the trend. Thus:

I don't expect that Donsig will stop turnchats if you cease activity, instead you'll just be defeating your own objective by giving him carte blanche to act in the absence of instructions. I have my suspicions as to why the current situation is occurring, and believe that the way to ameliorate matters is to step up forum discussion of issues and improve the general quality of turnchat instructions rather than have our leaders sit around on their arses wailing about the unfairness of it all ;)

Noldodan, please continue your role. I would have to say that a boycot won't help our position, and may actually hurt it, because donsig will run turnchats anyway and won't have your instruction, allowing him to do whatever he pleases constitutionally.

Well, it seems that this has turned out differntly than I had expected. If there is still a majority yes vote at 1:30 tomorrow morning (6:30 GMT) then I shall resume my duties.

As per the overwhelming will of the people as presented in this poll, I shall be resuming my function as the governor of Aventine... right after I mow the lawn, and go to a party, and... well, sometime tonight.
