I have a problem with the origional Red Alert. It won't play on my Windows XP computer. Is there a patch to fix this? Thanks for the help! :)

I tried to install Red Alert on my Windows 2000 system, but failed because i don't have Win 9.x. Apparently it doesn't work with NT-based systems (2000/XP).

There might be a solution that you might by searching for a Red Alert forum or simply looking for a patch.

Try to compatible mode in XP.

Right-click on the .exe file, go to properties->compatibility, run in WIN95 mode, 256 colors, 640*480 and disable visual themes.
