With all due respect to the F/A Dept., but what would we do with any of those cities? We'd lose them quickly, that's what. We still have 8 turns on our alliance with the Greeks and the Egyptians against the Yanks. I see no advantage for us to do this deal.

Just to clarify, this would take affect after the alliances end. I understand your concern, Cyc. I was asked to see what should be done with the Patriots and I just took it to the citizens. I do appreciate your input (since you are a citizen as well), though.

If this takes effect after the alliances end, then sure, I want to make peace.

Yes, I want this to end after the alliance does, not before. Also, we could trade away the city for whatever the other civs put on the table.

Trading the city away is not an option. The AI will not trade cities except during peace negotiations, and not always then.

In vanilla civ, the AI will offer deals for cities even when peace is not being discussed. They will not take any deal proposed by the human but will propose their own, which must be accepted or rejected. Try it, it does work, I've done it before.

Gifting a city is also good for a nation :) .

Yes, we may not be able to keep the city but we may still benefit from having it. While we cannot seel any cities to the AI we can give them to whomever we please. Would be interesting to get San Francisco and give it to China or something. :) Buffalo may not be a bad choice. It is on the Russian continent in a very mountainous region but it does represent a foothold there. Could be very useful later on...

Well, we have been building during term three. We've built setters, workers and temples (and a colosseum). We've built only a couple spearmen for defending our cities. Despite being at war with both the Aztecs and Americans we raised not one new Legion...

Of course Aventine province has decided to stop building and start producing wealth which will waste 115 shields that had been dedicated to building. :(

I beleve we should have Peace :). We need to build up our Infrastructure. Its so odd to find a force sensitive assassin bent as a warmonger to sue for peace. Maybe there is a little bit of a Builder in all of us :).
