In the first poll of this series the people of Fanatica voted to travel the path to Education. I applaud them for this, as that was my choice also. Now we have entered the Middle Ages and are researching Monotheism. This brings us new choices for which Tech we want to be at three Techs from now. Our options are varied and bring a diverse set of benefits with each. Some lead us to Democracy, some lead us to Gunpowder. I have listed the options below...

Music Theory - JS Bach's Cathedral

Banking - Banks (needed for a good Democracy)

Printing Press - On path to Democracy

Astronomy - Copernicus's Observatory

Feudalism - Sun Tzu's Art of War

Engineering - Plant Forest

This poll will remain open for 96 hours (4 days).
There is no abstain option for this poll.
This is not a multiple choice poll.

Hehe. 5 votes went to five different options. :) Good thing this poll is open until Thursday.

I'm a big fan of the observatory. It's science boost would be a great leg- up on our science friends; not to mention denying them the edge.

Keep in mind that the benefits of Copernicus' observatory are not that significant on a large world map like ours. I suggest we go for banking and sell it to get several other techs. The AI values it very highly.

My vote went to printing press, but only because it's often neglected by the AI and could therefore almost certainly be traded as well as leading to Democracy. That said, if we have a good shot at researching Banking before the AI reaches it I'd be very much in favour of that instead. Whatever puts us in the best situation and gets us Democracy fastest.
