Yes, it's there. I've played this game a bunch of times, but can never win. A doughnut to the first person who can prove he can beat the computer at this game. :)

I won it once and I have proof :D I will post it if you really want to se it. There was a thread about this in Site Feedback ages ago and eventually most people could win it as there is a certain tactic that ways wins.

(If you know the first letter of the thread, or when it was posted, it'd be easy to find, but if not, don't bother.) I'd like to know how to win; this game is frustratingly hard. :)

Took me a while, but I got it eventually. You just have to think of ways to make your line across instead of trying to stop blue. Cause it's impossible to stop it.

There are many other ways of winning but this does show the main method of confusing the computer into letting you win.

@Dell: Thanks, but it seems like when I get to move 8 the computer has already moved there. I've tried very carefully two times but it's happened both times.

Try moving on the sqaure to the left of the 8, so between the 22 and the 8.

In the past I was able to win 7 out of 10 times. When I tried it again yesterday I lost 5 times in a row.

I swear, I'm never gonna get the hang of this... I've yet to win a game... :p

The tactic I use is to bridge the gap using a false bridge towards the centre and above the rest of my line and then the computer will move below towards the edge. Then I bridge the gap above the computer move and next to my last move. Now he will try to block me but there is usually a gap on the false bridge to connect to the rest of my line.

I've played it once and won, but I guess by chance as I used no strategy. There's probably an always-win strategy.

Anyway:

I know I'll probably never win this game...just like Oct... :D At least I'm not alone. ;)

Its really really easy! Just use the tactic I described above. Its even possible to win say one game out of 10 without even using any sort of tactics.
