Does anyone know some good sites to download items for The Sims (note: I have none of the expansion sets). I'm looking mostly for Objects, Electronics and Appliances as opposed to Furniture.

Try searching for the Sims and downloads on a search engine and see what happens. If you can't find anything then try being more specific. It would probably be easier to find new character skins though.

Yeah, there are some utilities for that. Never was good at making them though...:(
